The Faculty at Peninsula offers single and double undergraduate degrees, an honours program and the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree. These programs are offered by dedicated academic staff who are also committed to strengthening community linkages.
From 2011, the Faculty at Peninsula introduced a Bachelor of Business, offered in a Problem Based Learning (PBL) environment. This is a practical, solutions focused method of learning that incorporates leading edge teaching practice and has been used for over 35 years in some of the world's leading universities. This is the first time PBL has been offered by a leading Australian university in a business context. Traditionally, it has been used to teach practical subjects, where practitioners are required to make complex decisions quickly in uncertain conditions, such as medicine.
Peninsula's Business and Economics Faculty Advisory Board champions the Business Associates Program which aims to strengthen ties with the local business and education communities and to promote joint research and employment opportunities for students and regional business.
